MIDDLESEX – Weldon Floyd Morgan, 67, died Tuesday. He was a native of Dallas, TX. He worked in commercial construction. Weldon loved to joke and had a huge heart. He was a man who stood beside you when you needed him and stood his ground. He was also an outdoorsman.
Funeral service 3 pm, Sunday, Strickland Funeral Home Chapel.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Josephine Liles Morgan of the home, children, Marcus Floyd Morgan (Connie) of Middlesex, John Eugene Morgan (Michelle Lynette) of Conway, SC, Denise Ann Bridges (William Derhammer) of Gun Barrell City, TX, Michael Shane Johnson of Dallas, TX, Durwood Wayne Joyner of Middlesex, Jeffrey Daryl Joyner of Middlesex, Elisha Ann Johnson of Conway, SC, Amy Jo Joyner (Steve Hinnant) of Middlesex, siblings, Melvin Eugene Morgan (Leatrice) of Caddo, OK, Wilma JoAnn Morgan of Dallas, TX., many grand & great grandchildren.
Visitation 7-8:30, Saturday, Strickland Funeral Home, 211 W. Third St., Wendell.
