Sherman Douglas McClaid, Jr.
May 29, 1925 – July 11, 2020
Wendell – Sherman Douglas McClaid, Jr., 95, died on July 11. He was born in Georgia to the late Sherman Douglas & Lillian Estelle Davis McClaid, Sr. He served in the U. S. Navy for 2 years and then served in the U. S. Airforce for 20 years until he retired. He was a past Worthy Patron for the Eastern Star and was a member of the Marine Lodge in Falmouth, MA. He was an intelligent man who will be remembered by many. He was preceded in death by his wife.
He is survived by his children, Stella Thompson, Melinda Cassick, & his grandchildren.
He will have a memorial graveside service 11 am, Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Sherman. He was a very nice person and had a great personality. So sorry for your loss.
Susan and I are deeply saddened to learn of Sherman’s passing.We have many fond memories of our Pinochle matches in Falmouth, and then in Wendell. Sherman and Louise will be always be remembered as dear friends .
