Sefton Gregory “Greg” Stevens

June 15, 1974 – May 29, 2015

KENLY – Sefton Gregory “Greg” Stevens, 40, died Friday.  A native of Prince William Co, Virginia.  He was an EMT Paramedic with multiple agencies in Johnston & other Counties.  He was a clinical coordinator with J. C. C.  Greg was a comedian who made you happy when you were around him.  An excellent instructor he was persistent with the success of his students.  He was passionate about life.

He is survived by his children, Nicholas and Abigail, parents, Sefton Carl & Carolyn Harris Stevens of Wendell, siblings, Tracy Apryl Stevens of Rice, WA, Jennifer Nichole Stevens of Boone, and best friend and mother of his children, Kelly Morgan.

In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to Strickland Funeral Home, 211 W. Third St., Wendell, NC.

Funeral service 2 pm, Wednesday, Johnston Community College Auditorium

    it’s almost been 5 years since that day. 5 fucking years. I love you so much and it breaks my heart now that I can barely remember what your voice sounded like. I miss every day. hell almost all the time everyday. I miss u so much dad. and if are reading this then your son who is writing this, is almost 14. how time flys when your sad as shit living a miserable life but hey, I’ll make it through. love you Daddy.

    Nicholas, I couldn’t help but notice your comment. I know you must really miss your dad. He was intelligent, talented, and he loved you very much. I wish I could say more to make you feel better, but I don’t know what would work right now. I know he would want you to keep walking in his footsteps as you make your way through young adulthood and become the person you are meant to be. Take care.
