SALLY ROCHELLE CANADY LEE
June 10, 1913 – August 7, 2013
On June 8, 2013, friends and family shared a milestone 100th birthday party for our Mother, MeMe, Grandma. MeMe touched so many lives with her Christian love and shared the songs she carried in her heart. She was the last surviving child of the late Arthur Thomas and Cora Lancaster Canady born in Johnston County. Our Mother, MeMe and Grandma loved and dedicated her life to God, her family and her friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Lee, and son, Shirley; son-in-law, Henry Mullen; daughter-in-law, Hazel Lee.
She is survived by her children: Bobby (Dorothy Morgan), Carolyn McConnell (Jesse), Brenda Bond (John), Randy (Gail) and Elaine Mullen; her grandchildren: Robert Lee (Javier Oseguera), Christi Lee Boothe (Van), Cheryl Bond Hicks (Ronnie), Donna McConnell Sorrell (Craig), Leigh Anne McConnell Dupree (Rodney), Melissa Mullen Brown, Brittney Lee, Kristen Mullen, Stormi Lee Moore (Lyle), Tristan Lee (Jessica Boykin), Henry Mullen, Jr (Julie), Patricia Mullen Smitherman(Todd); great-grandchildren: Ashton Hicks, Krista and Candace Dupree, Zachary Boothe, Alayna Sorrell, Bradley and Brayden Brown, Tripp Moore, Tiffany and Brittany Hicks, Corey Foster (Madison), Garret Mullen, Karmen Timberlake; great-great grandson: Joshua Hicks.

Funeral service 7 pm, Friday, Lee’s Chapel Baptist Church with visitation from 5-6:45 pm, prior to the service. Private burial at Friendship Free Will Baptist Church.
