Roy Ray Sanderson, Sr.
December 29, 1944 – May 7, 2016
LOUISBURG – Roy Ray Sanderson, Sr., 71, died Saturday. A native of Halifax County, he was son to the late Charles M. & Minnie Pearl Sanderson. Roy was devoted to wife Elaine, the love of his life, and his children. He loved to help anyone in need and was always quick to make friends.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Elaine Gardner Sanderson of the home, children, Roy Sanders, Jr. (Angela) of Zebulon, James Goodwin (Danyelle) of Louisburg, Andrew Sanderson of Angier, Daphne Sanders of Enfield, Amanda Krogh (Richard) of Zebulon, 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society,
Visitation 1:30 – 3 pm, Thursday, Wakefield Central Baptist Church.
