October 3, 1934 – September 5, 2018

WENDELL – Rose Pace Gay, 83, died Wednesday. She was born in Wake County to the late Charlie Boy & Annie Ruth Mangum Pace. She worked many years for Doctor Saleeby. Rose loved flowers & cardinals and was a determined lady who was loved by many. She was preceded in death by siblings, Charles Wayne Pace, Bobby Pace, Margaret Whitley.

Funeral service 2 pm, Sunday, Hales Chapel Baptist Church with interment to follow in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.

She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Wyatt Leon Gay of the home, children, Ronnie Chamblee (Carol), Connie Gay (David), Ric Chamblee, Ginny Upchurch (Jeffrey), Tammy Liverman (Jimmy), Donna Emerson (Brad), Donald Gay (Lorrie), siblings, Vic Pace, Ruth Collins, Julia Creech (Penny), grandchildren, Joshua Gay, Kristen Brooks (DJ), Jenna Privette (Andrew), Jamie Upchurch (fiancé Tyler), Brandon Gay, Daniel McGee, Hannah(Anthony), Aaron McGee, Lynn Thornton (Ray), Steven Sellers (Audra), Charles Leslie Chamblee (Shanna), great grandchildren, Kinzlee, Charlie Kate, Emery, Delaney, Aiden, Xander, Elijah, Ian, Jake, Rachel & Ben.
