ZEBULON – Rose Chamblee Turnage, 74, died Saturday. A native of Wake Co. she was daughter to the late Whitley & Carolyn Barnes Chamblee. She worked with the NC Dept. of Corrections for many years. Her brother, Billy preceded her in death.
Funeral service, 2pm, Tuesday, Zebulon U. M. C.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby Turnage of the home, daughters, Gail Davis of Zebulon & Nancy Eatmon (Phillip) of Bailey, siblings, Zeke (JoAnne) of Raleigh, Durwood (Colleen) of CA, Joe of Zebulon, Shirley of CA, Barbara Lyon (Donald) of Durham, & Betty Oakley(Donnie) of Zebulon, & grandchildren, Andrew and Christopher.
The family request in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Zebulon U. M. C., general fund, 121 W. Gannon Ave., Zebulon, NC, 27597.
Visitation 7-8:30 pm, Monday, Zebulon U. M. C. and other times at the home.
