August 11, 1944 – May 2, 2023

Zebulon- Phil Stanley Creech, 78, departed this life on Tuesday May 2, 2023. The Johnston County native was born to the late Worth Battle Creech & Ruby Ellen Manning Creech. He worked as a Welder with Peedin Steel, Athey and Blount Industries. He had a love for animals, specifically horses. He also enjoyed sulky cart racing. 

In addition to his parents Phil is preceded in death by his siblings; Steve, Stacy and Anthony.

He is survived by his wife,  Maude Price, Son, Warren Creech, Daughter, Karen Eason (Neil), Grandchildren, Jessica Beasley, Adam Beasley (Emily), Wesley Eason & Nikki Eason. Expected great grandson, Luke & great granddogs Cocoa & Axle and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Flowers welcomed, or memorials can be made to SECU Hospice of Johnston County.

Funeral service will be at Watkins Chapel Baptist Church on Sunday May 7, 2023 @3:00 pm.

Visitation will be held from 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

    Phil was one of my favorite customers at Stormin Normans BBQ in Kenly. Always had a grin on his face, I know Phil is in Heaven because we talked about Heaven everytime I saw him. I know the family is hurting but just know He is in the presence of Jesus no more Pain, You will see Him again,

    Maude, I will keep you all in my prayers for comfort. I remember you telling stores about your sweet now and what great memories you have now. He has reached his eartly goal in life…Heaven. Love you bunches and I can still hear you laughing at the office.
