Pauline Morgan Rife
June 8, 1937 – September 21, 2015
ZEBULON – Pauline Morgan Rife, 78, went home to the Lord with her family around her. She was a native of Wake County. Pauline was the best wife and mother, a caregiver, who gave unconditional, unending love. Her family was her life. She enjoyed flowers, her church, birds but especially hummingbirds. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Edgar Morgan, son, Paul Gregory “Greg” Rife, grandson, Brandon Cole Rife, brothers, Billy Gray, Horace Ray, & Willie Jay Morgan.
Funeral service 2 pm, Friday, Strickland Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Greenmount Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Richard B. Rife of the home, sons, Vernon E. Rife (Shelia) of Louisburg, Richard Eric Rife of Zebulon, daughters, Wendy R. Rife of Zebulon, Lisa Edwards of Zebulon, mother, Eula Mae Morgan brother, Charlie Morgan (Linda) of Zebulon, sisters, Eloise Carroll of Wendell, Lucy Young (Charles) of Fuquay, Peggy Bradshaw (Fred) of Knightdale, 6 grandchildren, & 11 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made the missions of Calvary Baptist Tabernacle, 394 Ferrells Bridge Rd., Louisburg, NC, 27549.
Visitation 6-7:30 pm, Thursday, Strickland Funeral Home, 211 W. Third St., Wendell and other times at the home.
