Marion Rita Schuster Ransbottom
November 9, 1935 – November 15, 2015
WENDELL – Marion Rita (Schuster) Ransbottom answered the Lord’s call on Sunday, November 15, 2015. She was 80 years old.
Mrs. Ransbottom, the daughter of Bernadette Duffy and Hubert J. Schuster of Pittsburgh, PA, was a loving daughter, sister, wife and mother & mother-in-law. She enjoyed her work over the years as both an interior decorator and a realtor, but her true passion was loving and caring for her family. Mrs. Ransbottom also enjoyed cooking, reading, feeding the wild birds in her yard and loving the family’s many pets and horses over the years.
She married her high school sweetheart, Charles Thomas Ransbottom, in 1956. At the time of Charles’ passing in 2012, they had been married 56 years. The Ransbottoms were members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dunn.
Mrs. Ransbottom is survived by their three children, Bernadette Ransbottom Hearne of N. Myrtle Beach, SC, Lisa Ransbottom Rivard of Arlington, TX, and Joel Kevin Ransbottom of Stallings, NC; her granddaughters Meghan and Shannon Roner of Mansfield, TX, and Kaitlyn and Olivia Ransbottom of Stallings, NC; her son-in-law, John T. Hearne, son-in-law, Dana L. Rivard, and daughter-in-law, Kelly L. Ransbottom; and six nieces and nephews, sister-in-law, Ruth Ransbottom Boynton & husband Gerald, cousin, Betty Duffy. Mrs. Ransbottom was preceded in death by her brother, Hubert J. Schuster, Jr.

A mass of resurrection will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 18, 2015, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Dunn, NC. Burial will be held Friday, November 20, 2015 in the Braddock Catholic Cemetery in Braddock Hills, PA.
