Marie Whitley Manning
May 20, 1923 – July 1, 2015
MIDDLESEX – Marie Whitley Manning, 92, went home to Glory on Wednesday. A native of Nash County she was daughter to the late Oscar & Hestella BrantleyWhitley. She was a Godly, Christian, woman who loved the Lord with all her heart. Her family were her life. She worked at Devil Dog, Pajama Craft, and many Family Restaurant in Middlesex. She was preceded in death by her husband, William David Manning, children, David Wayne Manning, Linda Manning Denton, great grandchildren, Pierce Gregory Narron, Heather Leigh Whitley and several siblings.
She is survived by her children; Brenda Whitley (Steve) of Middlesex, Buddy Manning (Lyndi) of Zebulon, Jeanine Corbett (Keith) of Middlesex, sister, Rebecca Jones, 14 grandchildren, 22, great grandchildren, and 5 great, great, grandchildren.

Funeral service 8 pm, Friday, Middlesex Church of God with visitation from 6:30 pm-8 pm, prior to the service. Private burial Saturday.
