Lillian Massey Williams

December 31, 1922 – April 7, 2016

MIDDLESEX – Lillian Massey Williams, 93, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday with her family by her side.  She was a native of Nash County and daughter to the late Benjamin Daniel & Madillia Strickland Massey.  Lillian loved to share with others her faith and love for the Lord Jesus Christ.  She was a member of Rocky Cross Holiness Church.  During the course of her life, she took care of many people who were ill.  She was very family oriented and enjoyed taking care of her home and yard.  Her favorite Bible passage was Psalm 23.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Baird Cleveland “B. C.” Williams, siblings, Percy Howard Massey, Preston Cornelius Massey (Estine), Benjamin Ralph Massey (Christine), Eddie King Massey, May Irene Kerr (Robert), Delilah Vincie Driver (Harold), & Marjorie Lee Massey.

Funeral service 11 am, Saturday, Rocky Cross Holiness Church, 12524 Anderson Rd., Zebulon, NC, with entombment to follow in the church cemetery.

She is survived by numerous and much loved nephews, nieces, their spouses and extended family who were the joy in her life.

Flowers welcomed or memorials may be made to Transitions’ Life Care, Raleigh, or Rocky Cross Holiness Church.
