WENDELL – Laura Frances Richardson Culp, formerly of Robinwood died Sunday. A native of Johnston County she was the daughter of the late Charlie Harris & Lizzie Tazwell Cooke Richardson. Laura was a much beloved mother whose children will always celebrate her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold “Muggsy” Culp, siblings, Hallie Barham, Nellie Chamblee, Dot Conklin, Allene Creech, Purvis Richardson, Macon Richardson & John Robert Richardson.
She is survived by her son, Wayne Culp & wife Carolyn of Washington Crossing, PA, daughters, Frances Foret & husband, “J” of Lake Royale, and Grace Sample & husband Ron of Lambertville, NJ, 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren,
Flowers or memorials to United Hospice, 301 S. Church St. Suite 122, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
Funeral service 11am, Wednesday in the Strickland Funeral Home Chapel , 211 W. Third St., Wendell, with visitation from 10-11am prior to the service. Interment will follow in Pennsylvania at a later date.
