Julian Edward Ball
March 15, 1940 – March 3, 2015
WENDELL – Julian Edward Ball, 74, died Tuesday. A native of Franklin County he was son to the late George Edward & Mary Smart Ball. He was a U. S. Army Veteran. Julian loved music and playing guitar at Genesis Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was preceded in death by step-daughter, Theresa Lynn Dowell and great grandchild, Madison Creech.
He is survived by his wife, JoLane Moss Ball, son, Julian E. “Jack” Ball, Jr. (Suzanne) of Willow Springs, daughter, Amy B. Coleman (John) of Clayton, step children, Carla Deidrich (Mark), Shelly Griffin (Shane), Susan Watts (Wayne), Ricky Eddy, Jimmy Eddy, Michael Frazier, William Frazier, Jimmy Frazier (Debbie), sister, Leona “Lee” B. Timm of Garner, grandsons, Kristian Noland, Adrian Ball, granddaughters, Samantha Coleman, Jasmine Ball, 15 additional grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, nieces, Dianne T. Byerly (Clarence), Karen F. Timm, Kay T. Melton (Craig), grand-nephew, Christopher Melton, grand nieces, Erin Byerly & Ashley M. Greeney (Dylan).

Funeral service 2 pm, Saturday, Genesis Pentecostal Holiness Church with visitation from 12 pm – 2, prior to the service. Burial, Oak Level Christian Church, Youngsville. Arrangements are with Strickland Funeral Home, 211 W. Third St., Wendell. www.stricklandfuneralhomes.net
