On behalf of the Southern Wayne Class of 1977, I extend our prayers, compassion and love to Tim, Judy ‘s sister and family. WE, her classmates, LOVED Judy. She forever be the most authentic individual you will ever meet with such grit and perseverance. She was one of the first to call me to get the class reunion planning going forth. She too is one of the founding members of the SWHS Class of 1977 Reunion Committee. Sooo … very glad to call her my friend, sister and classmate and to get to tell her how much I and so many others in her class LOVED before she transitioned. Virginia C. Gaynor, Vice- President of the Class of 1977
On behalf of the Southern Wayne Class of 1977, I extend our heartfelt condolence, love and compassion to Tim, Judy’s sister and family in passage to go home to be with the Lords. Judy was one of the most authentic persons you will ever meet. Her love for People regardless of race, gender or class. If anyone could get me pumped up for our Class Reunion, it was her. She is one of the founding members of the committee. Our reunions will never be the same with you. I soo glad I can call you my friend, sister and forever classmate.
Ms. Judy will truly be missed. She has been 1of my best friends since the 1st day that I started work at Baptist Tabernacle Church. Even after I left, we still remained very best friends. Before Covid, Judy called me and wanted Skyler and I go to to the State Fair with her. That is a day that will be remembered for years to come thanks to pictures and videos that I made with my cell phone. Skyler love Judy and always would ask me, mama when are we going back to Ms. Judy’s house and I would tell him when she felt better. When I found out that she was sick, I began my own personal prayer chain for her. I continued to talk with her and encourage her to keep the faith. She had a strong faith on God and I know that she is looking down on all of us now and saying I am pain free and in the most beautiful place. Skyler and I love you Judy and you will truly be missed
