JESSE M. TAYLOR
August 4, 1932 – January 13, 2013
ZEBULON – Jesse McCoy Taylor, 80, of the Pilot Community, died Sunday. A native of Franklin County he was son of the late Ervin & Sally Pearce Taylor. Jesse was a retired truck driver. He was simply a good man.
He is survived by his wife of 61years, Janet Pippin Taylor, children, Ricky Taylor, Jan Taylor both of Raleigh, siblings Mack Taylor (Selma) of Selma, Edward Taylor of Wendell, Dwayne Taylor of Nashville, Willie Wright of Zebulon, Tillie Swanson of Louisburg, Ann Daniels (Bill) of Raleigh, Jean Alexander (Michael) of Wilmington, Nell Jones of Elm City, and 19 nieces and nephews.
Funeral service 2 pm, Wednesday, Strickland Funeral Home Chapel, 211 W. Third St., Wendell with visitation 12:30 -1:45 pm, prior to the service. Entombment, Gethsemane Memorial Gardens. www.stricklandfuneralhomes.net
