JESSE EARL HOLLIFIELD
July 8, 1941 – March 2, 2014
WENDELL – Jesse Earl Hollifield, 72, died Sunday. A native of Wake County he was son to the late Isaac Fletcher & Annie Genova Durham Hollifiled. Jesse was a good man who always made you smile and had a comforting way about him. He would help anybody and was loved by everyone at the nursing home. He was an avid fisherman, loved animals and country music. He loved his family more than anything. He was preceded in death by his wife Helen and sister, Catherine Hollifield Alford.
He is survived by his siblings, Melvin Hollifield (Connie) of Zebulon, James Hollifield (Janette) of Nashville, Fletcher Hollifield (Hal Kerlin) of Wendell, and Nettie Williams of Wendell.
In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to Hospice of Wake County.
Graveside service 11 am, Tuesday, Central Baptist Church Cemetery.
