She worked in the manufacturing of Devil Dog Dungarees, as well as a plate maker for Theo Davis Printing. She will be remembered fondly as a loving and devoted wife, mother, and aunt. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Frances Brantley.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Robert Lee Jones; daughter, Pamela Jean Hughes (Christopher); nephews, Ricky Brantley (Betty) and Cale Brantley; great-niece, Tiffany Brantley Gresham (Chris).
Jean had 8 sponsored “grandchildren” (Melanie, Janeyron, Grace, Eydan, Yerlin, Arnold, Lupita and Arsleidy) through the organization of Children International and was active with her crochet and art in helping to raise funds for them.

Aunt Jean was a wonderful lady that always made you feel at home. She was full of love and life. I will always wemember her smile and peanut butter and banana sandwiches. Until we meet again, thank you for the love you shared with me. Love always!!
Thank you for being my Mommy. I love you to the moon and back and then some more.
Cousin Jean was a wonderful kind lady! My mom Elsie Foy will miss talking to her. RIP dear lady!!
I loved Jean. She was such a special cousin to me. She was so sweet and always so humble. Her father was my Dads brother. We never got to see each other often, but both of us had a special love for one another. She had so many talents and her personality would light up a room. Going to miss you sweet cousin, but I know one day we will see you again. “God just gained another Angel.” Love you, Donna and Bob .
