JARVIS WILLIAM JOHNSON
September 22, 1917 – December 4, 2013
ZEBULON – Jarvis William Johnson, 96, died Wednesday. A native of Franklin County he was son to the late Zollie & Lillie Pearce Johnson. Jarvis loved his roosters and his dog Nippie. He enjoyed talking with folks and also taught Sunday school at Pearce Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Helen Catlette Johnson, and several siblings.
He is survived by his sisters; Aubrey Gray Pearce (Chief) of Zebulon, Ruth Perry of Louisburg, many more family members who cared for him deeply.
Graveside service 11 am, Friday, Old Bunn Cemetery.
