WENDELL – James Thomas Sasser, Jr., 86, died Wednesday. He was born in Johnston County to the late James Thomas & Mozelle Parrish Sasser, Sr. James was a good man who loved his wife and family more than anything. He was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Thomas Sasser
He is survived by the love of his life; Hazel Hollifield Sasser of the home, children; Terry Sasser (Sandra), Ricky Sasser (Robin), Connie Norris (Kelly), sister, Helen Long (Laurence), & 7 grandchildren.
Graveside service 3 pm, Sunday, Central Baptist Church Cemetery with visitation 1-2:30 pm, Sunday, Strickland Funeral Home, 211 W. Third St, Wendell, prior to the service. Full obituary at www.stricklandfuneral.com

Hazel, please let me know if there is anything I can do to help. We did not hear about James death until to late to attend the funeral. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
