APEX – Elizabeth Mullen Woolard, 77, died Monday. A native of Franklin county she was preceded in death by her mother Ruby Mullen Arnold. Elizabeth worked at Wake Med for many years and will be missed by her family very much. She loved her pets and was a woman of strong work ethic. She was preceded in death by her husband, Colon Glenn Woolard.
Funeral service 2 pm, Wednesday, Strickland Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Historic Oakwood Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Richard Glenn Woolard & wife Jodi of Apex, daughter, Karen Adams & husband Dennis of Garner, siblings Henry Mullen of Pilot, Willard Arnold & wife Barbara of Wendell, Shirley Harris & husband Terry of Justice, Angelia Arnold of Pilot, Walter Arnold & wife Kathy of Canyon Lake, TX, and grandchildren, Brooke Tyson & husband Ken and Lindsey Adams.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association- Eastern North Carolina
