Edith Pearce Curtis
May 22, 1937 – August 21, 2014
ZEBULON – Edith Pearce Curtis, 77, died at home with her family by her side. A native of Franklin County, She was daughter to the late Johnny & Mary Leonard Pearce. Edith was a kind and warm woman who always let you know where you stood. She had an unyielding faith but her family was her life. She was a 16 year liver transplant survivor. She was preceded in death by daughter; Kathy Carroll and the father of her children; Wilson Carroll.
She is survived by her children, James “Mann” Carroll (Dawn), Betty C. Perry (Danny Griffin), Dianne C. Pearce (Norwood), siblings; Johnny Pearce (Jewel), Boston Pearce (Beverly), Rachel Smith, Ruth Liles, all of Zebulon, grandchildren, Terri McDowell (Jeff), Kandi White (Michael), Jordan Carroll (Will Sauls), Courtney, Liz Prochaska, Laura & Mikalya, great grandchildren, Haley, Raegan, Will, Quin, Cullen, Liam & lifelong friend, Carolyn “Jane” Young.
Funeral service 3 pm, Sunday, East Wake Church of God with visitation from 1:30 pm – 3 pm, prior to the service and other times at Edith’s home. Entombment, Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.
Flowers welcomed or memorials may be made to Transitions Life Care Hospice.
