Carol was the head of Children and Youth when I was hired for my first job after I got my MPH. She was such a dedicated and caring individual and worked tirelessly to improve the lives of NC most vulnerable population. I will never forget her warm and welcoming demeanor. She was truly a mentor for me as I started out my career. May the family and friends feel peace and find joy in the memories.
Carol was a very good person to me, and I am saddened by her loss. May she rest in peace….I will never forget her!
