Capt. Clint Michael “Mike” Mise
June 2, 1957 – December 9, 2017
RALEIGH – Capt. Clint Michael “Mike” Mise, 60, died on Saturday at his home. He was born in Danville VA to the late William “Bill” E. & M. Jacqueline “Jackie” Kapp Mise. He served his country in the U. S. Army. In 1981 he went to work for the Raleigh Police Department where he worked until retirement. He also worked security for the RBC Center & Walnut Creek. Mike was known by many hats but the most important of them was husband and father. He truly was a “cop’s cop” and highly respected in law enforcement. He was the best of us all. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Stephanie Mise
He is survived by his wife & best friend of 39 years, Audrey Stine Mise of the home, son, Officer Chris Mise (Suni) of Zebulon, siblings Linda Fickies (Hal) of Michigan, Debe Snow (David) of Wilmington, Tony Mise (Carolyn) of Wilmington, dogs, Dodger & Jasmine.
Funeral 11 am, Wednesday, Strickland Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Greenmount Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Audrey – I have many good memories of Mike at RPD. I cannot even begin to understand what you are going through right now, but I would like to offer my prayers and condolences to you and your family.
