ROCKY MOUNT – Brian Watson Shaw, 40, died Thursday. Brian was born in Wake county. He worked at Murphy’s Convenience Store. He loved singing and music. He was preceded in death by his sister, Melissa Sue Johnson.
He is survived by his partner of 15 years, Rodney Stambaugh, parents, Tammy Sue & Robert Johnson, sister, Amanda Johnson, grandmother, Mabel Bass.
Memorial service 3 pm, Friday, Strickland Funeral Home Chapel, 211 W. Third St., Wendell with visitation from 1:30 – 3 pm, prior to the service.
