Andrea Bryant
June 14, 1941- February 5, 2016
Middlesex, NC – Andrea Temple Bryant, 74, formerly of Dallas, passed away on Friday, February 05, 2016 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia with her loving family by her side.
Mrs. Bryant was the wife of Reverend Jack Bryant, former Pastor of Dallas Baptist Church, Dallas, NC.
Andrea was born on June 14, 1941 in Wake County, NC to the late Cleo Boykin and Gordon Lee Temple.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Keith Temple
She was a member of Union Hope Baptist Church, Zebulon, North Carolina.
Mrs. Bryant retired from the Gaston County School System after many years of dedicated service where she taught at Warlick Elementary, Woodhill Elementary and Costner Elementary. Andrea cherished working with children; her passion for Vacation Bible School and Sunday School was always evident when she was involved. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and family.
Survivors include her husband Reverend Jack Bryant; son, Dana Bryant (Robin) of Lincolnton, NC; grandson, Dustin Bryant of Bessemer City, NC; sisters, Treva Hicks (Terry) of Concord, NC; Roxie Temple of Zebulon, NC; sister-in-law, Shelby Temple of Zebulon, NC
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 9th at Union Hope Baptist Church, Zebulon, NC. Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. followed by the service at 7:00 p.m.
Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 10th
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 6000 Fairview Road, Suite 200, Charlotte, 28210 and/or donor’s choice
