Alice Denton Melton
September 24, 1931 – June 30, 2015
ZEBULON – Alice Denton Melton, 83, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday with her family by her side. A native of Wake County she lived in Franklin County. Alice had a loving heart and loved to travel.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Kenneth Fay Melton of the home, son, Gerald Melton of Wake Forest, brothers, Jack Denton (Becky) of Wendell, & George Denton (Brenda) of Knightdale.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Funeral service 3 pm, Friday, Strickland Funeral Home Chapel, 211 W. Third St., Wendell with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial, Beulah Christian Baptist Church Cemetery. www.stricklandfuneralhomes.net
