Amanda Finch

Amanda Finch, 64, of Nash County, passed away September 29, 2025. She was born December 10, 1960, at Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC, to the late Rex Kelly Finch and Mary Lois Ennis Finch.
Amanda was a devoted and hardworking woman who spent her career in administration in direct mail marketing production, where she remained until her retirement. She took great pride in her work.
A true animal lover at heart, Amanda had a special bond with animals of all kinds — especially dogs, cats, and birds. Her love for creatures great and small was a defining part of who she was.
Amanda is survived by her beloved sons, Shane Hawkins and Shaun Hawkins; her granddaughter, Amanda Dunn; grandsons, Marshall Hawkins and Stetson Hawkins; and her great-granddaughter, Kaycee Dunn. She is preceded in death by her twin daughters, Shannon Hawkins and Sherry Hawkins.

Lost touch with her after the death of her twins.
Our husbands work together for years and that’s how we became acquainted. She was always a very wife and mother. Prayers for peace and comfort at this time.
