ZELMA G. CASTLEBERRY

ARCHER LODGE – Zelma Clyde Gower Castleberry, 88, passed peacefully on Saturday. She was born in Wake County to the late Earl H. & Emma Wall Gower. Zelma was a member of White Oak Baptist Church. She loved cardinals and was a woman who blessed everyone around her with her presence. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 28 years, Hoyt Gold Castleberry, brothers; Clinton, Chester, Cecil, Connie, Russell, & Earl “Becie” Gower, and sister; Evelyn Gower Lynch.
She is survived by her sons; Clyde Castleberry and wife, Rhonda, & Tracy Castleberry and wife Jody, grandchildren, Jenna Castleberry Payton, Daniel Castleberry, Seth, Dan, & Natalie Castleberry, and great grandchild, Aubrey Payton.

Funeral service will be 3 pm, Wednesday, White Oak Baptist Church. Visitation will be 1-3 pm in the Archer Lodge Community Building, prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
