WINNIE G. CARROLL

CLAYTON – Winnie Green Carroll, 91, died Friday. A native of Johnston County she was daughter to the late Mallie & Lura Parham Green. She worked at Westinghouse. Winnie was a giving person and second mother & grandmother to many. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh, son, Phillip, and siblings, Labon , Christine Wall, Lucille Turnham, Lessie Mae Johnson & Johnnie Johnson.
She is survived by son, Wayne Carroll (Annette) of Garner, special son, Michael Turnham, daughter-in-law, Susan, siblings, Dot G. Perry of Wendell, Joyce G. Harris (Talmage) of Salisbury, and J. M. Green, Jr. of Clayton, 7 grandchildren, & 8 great grandchildren.
Flowers or memorials to White Oak Baptist Church, Care Givers.
Funeral service 12 pm, Monday, White Oak Baptist Church where she was a lifelong member. Visitation will be 11 am – 12 prior to the service. She’ll be interred in the church cemetery.
