Willistine Tant Collie
February 16, 1945 – August 29, 2019

HERTFORD – Willistine Tant Collie, 74, died Thursday.  She was born in Nash County to the late John Clarence Tant and Martha Anna Bryant Tant.  She worked as a seamstress for Devil Dog Dungarees.  She was preceded in death by husbands, Rudy Vallee Cone and Earl Collie; siblings, Alice Gray, Raybon Tant and Hannah Jean Wright and grandson, Rudy Dale Cone, Jr.

She is survived by her son, Rudy Dale Cone, Sr. (Connie); sisters, Hilda Johnson (Nick) and Peggy Wiggs (Everette); granddaughters, April Cone, Jamie Phelps (Daniel), Dana Curtin, and Jenny Curtin; grandsons, Ronnie Duncan Jr. (Jennifer) and Benjamin Duncan and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral service, Sunday, 3pm, with visitation prior to the service, 1:30 – 3pm, at Strickland Funeral Home with burial to follow at Greenmount Cemetery in Wendell.
