William “Tony” Jones
January 12, 1942 – December 26, 2025
William “Tony” Jones, 83, went home to be with the Lord early Friday morning. He was born in Nash County to the late James Robert & Ethel Pearce Jones. Tony was a much beloved husband. He was a true friend and a hard worker. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Bruce, & Raymond Jones.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Whitley Jones, sisters, Carol Miller, Ilene Dowell (Buddy), Diana Fuller, & Hope Lewis (Woody)
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
Graveside service, 3 pm Monday in the Jones Family Cemetery. www.stricklandfuneral.com
