September 18, 1951 – January 15, 2022
ZEBULON – Timothy I. Phillips, 70, went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, January 15th, 2022. He was born in Johnston County to the late Isham & Mavis Phillips. He worked as a Salesman at Taylor Waterstoves in which he retired. Timothy enjoyed nature and loved to fish. He will be remembered as a great giver who went above and beyond for those he loved. He is presided in death by his great-great grandson, Jeremiah.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Linda B. Phillips, children, Jennifer Phillips, Timmy Phillips, 3 stepchildren, 6 step grandchildren, 9 step great-grandchildren, and 2 step great-great grandchildren.
Flowers are welcomed or memorials may be made to Union Chapel Baptist Church.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 3 PM, Monday, Union Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, 2437 Zebulon Rd, Zebulon, NC 27597. Arrangements are with Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, 211 W. Third St., Wendell, NC, 27591. www.stricklandfuneral.com.

So sorry about Tim
Sorry to hear of Tim’s passing. He was a relative and we grew up together. May he rest in peace.
Linda, i am saddened at Tim’s passing and will continue to keep you in my prayers.
Tim and I were graduates of North Johnston High School in Micro, NC.
He will be greatly missed. Tim was a kind and generous person and was loved by all who knew him.

I attended school from first grade at Glendale through twelfth grade at North Johnston with Tim. I have tried to locate him on several occasions for class reunions but never could. My prayers go out to the family.
I knew his parents well and his sister was a great friend. So sorry for your loss. Prayers for the family.
