WENDELL – Theresa Alice Wood, 84, was welcomed into the arms of our loving Lord, Jesus Christ on Wednesday. She was born in Danielson CT. to the late Arthur & Evette Breault Provencal. Theresa loved to volunteer and was a lectorer at her church for many years.
Mass of resurrection will be Saturday, 9:30 am, St. Eugene’s Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband George D. Wood of the home, daughters, Joyce Graham (David) of Clayton, Linda Shelton (Jeff) of Laurel, MT, grandchildren, Holly Garrity (Ryan), Heidi Seifert (Paul), Cynthia Graham, Catherine Shelton, & Emily Shelton, and great grandchildren, Kayley, Lillian, Eliza, & Olivia.
Theresa loved her church and requested in lieu of flowers memorials be made to St. Eugene’s Catholic Church, 608 Lions Club Rd., Wendell, NC 27591.
Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Friday, with Rosary Service at 8 pm, at Strickland Funeral Home, 211 W. Third St., Wendell. www.stricklandfuneralhomes.net
