Teresa “Terry Jo” Skurry Ellis, 70, of Wendell, NC, passed away December 13, 2024, at her home. She was born October 19, 1954, in Wake County, to the late Joseph Junior Skurry and Mallie Delores Hall Skurry.
Terry Jo is survived by her sons, Ernest Ellis, Jr. and Johnny (Jessica) Ellis; grandchildren, Hunter (Jada Williams) Ellis, Jadon (Elizabeth Hutchins) Ellis, and Colton Ellis; and great-grandchild, Dallas Ellis. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ernest Ellis, Sr.; her sisters, Darla Smith and Lisa Bradshaw; and her brother, Roger Skurry.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, December 20, 2024, at Montlawn Memorial Park, 2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh, NC 27603.
