Laurie and family, The passing of your Uncle Talmadge was announced this morning at church. Please accept my sympathy. He was definitely a friendly man who always had a lot to say when he’d stop by for a chat. I hadn’t spoken with him in some time and I have missed seeing his red truck driving around as he checked on everything all over the place. I feel very fortunate to have met him. I hope your memories of him will bless your hearts. Sending love to all of you.
Carol Faye, so sorry to learn of Talmadge passing away. Ted always enjoyed their phone calls. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Love in Christ, Sandra Smith Morgan
This makes me so sad. Talmadge was such a loving, kind, and humorous man. I have so many wonderful memories with him at church and during the many times we shared fellowship outside of church. He and Mrs. Carol are two of the most generous and loving people I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing. They always treated me like family, no matter how much time had passed since we’d last seen each other.
Mrs. Carol, I know your heart is broken, and I know you’re going to miss Talmadge more than words can express. I pray God gives you strength, comfort, and peace in the days ahead. The love you and Talmadge shared was so special and was evident to everyone who knew you both. He will always be remembered for his kind heart, his sense of humor, and the joy he brought to so many lives.
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
I love you, Mrs. Carol.
I am so sorry I know it will be tuff but know he is in his heavenly home and he is new again My prayers 🙏 are with you all
I had the privilege of riding to work with Talmadge and Carol many years ago when working with the state. We had such a good time! Talmadge was always cutting up with us girls that rode with him. I was blessed to know them. Carol, may God give you strength, comfort and peace that only He can give. 🙏🏻 with love and prayers ❤️
