Sherry Lynn Walker Ubben

March 17, 1955 – July 5, 2015

WENDELL – Sherry Lynn Walker Ubben, 60, died at home on Sunday.  She was a native of Iuka, MS.  She was a North Carolina Master Gardener, and volunteered and was active with Meals on Wheels.  She was preceded in death by her father, William Walker.

She is survived by her husband, Rex Henry Ubben of the home, children, Andrew Ubben of Birmingham, AL, David Ubben (Grinnel) of Washington, DC, Morgan Manos (Carolyn) of San Francisco, CA, Shelby Easterling of Deetsville, AL, mother,  Helen Ruth Bridges Walker, brother, Steven Walker of Birmingham, AL, grandchildren, David, Wesley, Emma & Henry

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

A gathering will be held 10 -11 am, Saturday, Strickland Funeral Home, 211 W. Third ST., Wendell.
