Sunrise December 31, 1964 – Sunset May 16, 2021
Zebulon – Sheila Lou Denton, 56, went home to her Lord after a valiant and courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family. She brought people together by her soul food cooking and endless love. She touched many lives in different ways everyday by encouraging words of wisdom. She was a wonderful mother and friend. She was humbling and always putting others before herself. Never mistake Sheila’s kindness for weakness; she had a heart of gold, but it wouldn’t end well if you made her angry. She was never afraid to work hard to achieve her goals. She faced each day with determination.
Sheila leaves to cherish her memory; mother, Bonnie Parrish (James), sister, Michelle Denton, children, Christopher Stancil, Tamaura Farmer (Gabriel) & Lashonda Brown, grandchildren, Ashly, Jaelun, Joslyn, Justis & Aliviyah. Companion Kenny Holiday and son Leviticus.
A service to celebrate the life of Sheila will be held June 27, 2021
Please contact her daughter Tamaura Farmer for time and location at ashlystancil@gmail.com.
