Sarah Lee Glover
February 12, 1932 – September 23, 2024
GARNER – Sarah Lee Cash Glover took her last breaths and passed on from this life at the age of 92. She was born in Wake Co. to the late Grover & Ione Hinton Cash. Her passion was truly expressed in caring for others. Sarah and her husband worked together with Parrish Nursing Home and owned Glover Rest Home until their retirement. It was at this point that they took many road trips abroad and multiple cruises with Sarah’s sisters and their husbands. When they weren’t traveling, they enjoyed time with their family at the Emerald Isle beach house. Sarah was a beloved wife to her husband, an amazing mother to her children and she had an indescribable love for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her memory will live on in all the lives she touched. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Barbee Chester Glover.
She is survived by her loving children, Nancy G. Ports (George), Barbee Glover (Laurie) and Amy Quick (Eddie); her grandchildren, Cullen Ports (Jennifer), Hillary Bomgardner (Clay), Gray Glover (Claire), Meghan Carruthers (Steve) Britton Lock and Dylan Quick (Crystal), and 10 great grandchildren
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to 3HC Hospice.
A private funeral service will be held in the Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel, with burial to follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, 809 W. Gannon Ave, Zebulon NC.
