Sara Ann Watson
April 5, 1970 – September 21, 2026
ZEBULON – Sara Ann Watson unexpectedly passed away in her home at the young age of only 56.
Sara was born in Dade Co., FL to the late Lawrence & Elizabeth Kopf Watson. Sara was spontaneous and so full of joy. She enjoyed life’s pleasures and had the most contagious smile. Sara looked forward to the family trips, especially to the beach where she could relax while spending priceless time with her daughter and grandbabies. She loved to stop and smell the roses. She even enjoyed beautifying things around her. Her conversations without mentioning her family were few and her love for them is eternal. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Lawrence Watson, Jr.
Sara is survived by her daughters, Mallory Hannah Gaskins and Courtney Yancey Hinnant; her grandchildren, Jayden Gaskins, Nathaniel Gaskins, Connor Hinnant, Aubrey Hinnant, Emalyn Hinnant and Bellamy Hinnant; her sisters, Laura Watson, Frances Watson and her partner of 14 years, Robert Lane Vincent.
The family wishes to express their gratitude and appreciation for all the prayers and kindness during their time of bereavement.

A few years ago I learned that my sister found her biological family. She couldn’t be more happy, and I was happy for her as well. I was hoping that eventually I would be able to meet her new family but unfortunately I missed the opportunity to meet Sally. I hope that she rests in peace and that the family gets the answers and comfort that they deserve at this horrible time. God bless!
