I’ve met lot of good people throughout my life and have many friends but none made me more comfortable than Sam. When he talked he’d give it to you straight but always with a laugh. He was the first person I met in Raleigh when I went into Business with my brother Pat 24 yrs ago.. I enjoyed occasional visits to the Lab where Sam would crack me up with his stories. It was a treat to here his intelligent and sarcastic renditions of why, how, when and even where things might screw-up. After some good laugh he would just ease on in to some serious discussion about the Wolfpack’s latest near miraculous feat but, always the loyal fan, would conclude with we’re getting better because of this, that and one thing or the other. I was totally shocked to here this news from my brother. We both agree Sam was a great guy one of the best. I’m gonna miss him and so is everyone that knew him.
