ZEBULON – Ruby Strickland Langley, 73, died Thursday. She was born in Johnston County to Herbert & Alena Strickland. She was a loving wife, mother, & grandmother who will be missed. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years William “Buck” Langley & daughter, Grittae Edwards.

She is survived by her children, David Langley of Zebulon, (Michelle), Jerry Langley, Barney Langley of Spring Hope, Chris Langley (Melissa) of Wendell, Lori Knight (Jeff Brown) of Zebulon, brother, Jackie Ray Strickland (Ruby Lee) of South Hills, VA, sister, Betty Bissette of Henderson, 17 grandchildren & many great grandchildren.

Funeral service 3 pm, Saturday, Strickland Funeral Home Chapel, 211 W. Third St., Wendell with visitation following the service. Burial, Beulah Christian Baptist Church. www.stricklandfuneral.com
