Ronnie Luke Fergerson, 72, of Louisburg, completed his earthly journey and entered eternal rest on 2017. Ronnie was a simple man who loved God, his family, nature, fishing, and animals. He leaves his family knowing he lived by faith in God and it is through that faith that he received his total healing and it was his constant prayer that his family can rest assured that he in in the arms of the Lord he loved and one day they will see him again.
Ronnie made a confession of faith in the Lord as his Savior on June 10, 2007 and was baptized at Poplar Spring Baptist Church, Zebulon NC . He found strength from his Savior, Jesus Christ and displayed this faith,love and compassion to all who came in contact with him.
He was born in Franklin County and the son of the late Willie Fergerson and Hazel Medlin Beck.
Ronnie retired in 2007 from Carneal Downey Construction Company with 23 years of service prior to working for Hi-Cone Inc. of Zebulon for 16 years.
Ronnie is survived by his wife of 32 years, Judith Reid Fergerson; Daughter, Angelia Fergerson Parrish and husband, Steve, granddaughter Allyson, of Youngsville; Sons, Ronnie Bradford Fergerson and wife, Donna Fergerson, grandsons Taylor Fergerson and Avery Fergerson and Christian Matthews of Zebulon, Terry Scott Strickland and wife Sheila Cash Strickland; of Louisburg; granddaughter, Michelle Moser, and husband, Kenneth and great grandsons, Dalton and Troy Moser; Sister, Jean Temple and husband Richard of Raleigh; Brother W. H. Fergerson and wife Hattie (Pete) of Wake Forest.
Ronnie was predeceased his mother, Hazel Medlin Beck, sister Melrose Fergerson Perry and former wife, Rachel Creech Fergerson.
Visitation 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm Wednesday at Calvary’s Cross Baptist Church, 1807 NC 98 Hwy W, Louisburg, NC and at other times at the home 790 Strickland Road Louisburg, NC. A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday Day at Calvary’s Cross Baptist Church Louisburg, NC with Pastor Martin Pinnell officiating.
Ronnie has requested a private ceremony for the spreading of his ashes with immediate family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary’s Cross Baptist Church, building fund, 1807 Nc 98 Hwy W, Louisburg, NC or to Transitions Lifecare
