Debbie
I just saw this and was shocked. You have been through a lot lately with your Mom, Phillip and now Rodney. You will be in our thoughts and prayers and hope that God will bless you and help you through this.
Debbie, I am so sorry to hear about Rodney. It came as a tremendous shock. I thought the world of him, sharing classes at Giles and at VT. His sense of humor was always on. I can see Rodney delivering one of his one-liners, and the way his eyes got big and his lips kinda puckered at the end of his delivery. I’m smiling, thinking about it.
The last I saw Rodney, I was in Raleigh trying to recruit him to come to work for me in the engineering consulting field in the Norfolk, VA area. He wasn’t leaving that area, or the NC DOT. But it was good to see him.
Please accept my deepest sympathies in his passing, Debbie. If there is anythng I can do for you, please let me know. I trust that Rodney’s soul is in excellent hands now with our Lord God, and I pray that he will comfort you with his grace and love.
We are so sorry to hear this news! Our thoughts and prayers are with you and all the family at this very difficult time. Love, Ellen and Shorty Aman
It was truly an honor to meet and spend time with your family! You are all strong and truly amazing people. You understand the true meaning of family and show love and compassion to others. I am so sorry for your loss. I will keep y’all in my prayers and wish you peace in this difficult time.
We worshiped together at First Methodist Church in Pearisburg many many years ago I knew his parents well. May God continue to bless Rodney’s family at this difficult time of your time.
