I am deeply saddened to hear this news. He always kept in touch with West Union Presbyteryian Church by writing to my mother, Sarah Dunn. We have such loving memories Bob here at West Union. We will be sharing memories on Sunday during our service. Our condolences to Margie and the family. It is such a loss but such an addition to God’s heaven. May God comfort all of you.

Rev. Borland was the kindest, warmest and most special person. He touched my life, my family and I’m sure every person he came in contact with. Our church was blessed to have him as out minister and fellow member till now. Marjorie was as sweet and kind as him and as well loved. My deepest sympathy to all his family. He will be missed greatly but he will always with every Life he touched.

So sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. I have many wonderful memories of him.
My mother had been in an accident and was in a WV Hospital and I was in the hospital in Waynesburg.
I delivered my son in the hospital in Waynesburg,PA.
Shortly after my delivery he came and said “I am going down and tell your mother she has a new grandson and he has all
of his fingers and toes”I will always remember his humor and kindness.
    Please accept my deepest sympathy.
    Prayers and hugs!!

Bob was an exceptional person. He was so kind and always happy to see you. Even after I left Wendell, he took the time to stay in touch, especially when I lost Dennis and Steven. He made the world a better place. Someone once told me that no matter how many ministers one had, there would only be a few that were favorites. Bob was a favorite. I will be holding all the family up to the light for days to come.
