Rachel Frances Laughter
July 16, 1930 – February 21, 2017
ZEBULON – Rachel Frances Laughter, 86, died Tuesday with her family surrounding her. Rachel & her sister lived in Raleigh for many years before moving to Zebulon. She was born in Nash County to the late William Wiley & Mozelle Brantley Laughter. She was retired from Electrical Equipment Company. Rachel was a long-time member of Wakefield Central Baptist Church. She enjoyed being with her sisters and they were her life. She was preceded in death by sisters, Inez Carter, Edith Scherck, Elaine McGarvey, & Versteen Rice.
She is survived by her sisters, Shirley Mozelle Laughter of the home, Barbara Davis (Grover) of Zebulon, & Miriam Wiggins of Youngsville.
Funeral 3 pm, Friday, Wakefield Central Baptist Church with visitation from 2-3 prior to the service. Graveside service 11 am, Saturday, Briar Creek Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Wakefield Central Baptist Church or Charity of Choice.
