Phyllis Martin Richardson
March 28, 1942 – April 5, 2015
WENDELL – Phyllis Martin Richardson, 73, died, Sunday at home. A native of Wake County she was daughter to the late Golda & Martha Green Martin. Phyllis was a model and clerk at Mother and Daughter’s Store in Raleigh. She worked as a hairdresser in Raleigh for years and also inspected computers at Data General for eight years. She was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Edward Cunningham.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Paul Hart Richardson of the home, daughter-in-law, Cathy Cunningham, granddaughter, Cristin Cunningham, step-sons, Kenny Richardson (Patty), David Richardson, sister, Barbara Jean Martin of Wendell, and nephew, Tim Tutor (Robin).
Visitation 7-8:30 pm, Wednesday, Strickland Funeral Home, 211 W. Third St., Wendell and other times at the home. A private graveside service will be held. www.stricklandfuneralhomes.net
