Patsy Marie Currin Bryant
July 20, 1948 – June 16, 2026
ZEBULON – Patsy Marie Bryant, 77, passed gently from this world into the arms of Jesus, where she longed to be. She was born in Wake Co. to the late George Stephenson & Doris Belle Strickland Currin. Professionally, Patsy worked as an administrative clerk for Siemens and managed her husband’s electrical business. She had a huge heart and desired to provide for others. She enjoyed the Zebulon community, participating at the Wendell Senior Center and missed the fellowship with dear friends there in the last few months. Patsy had an immense love for her family and cared for all like the Mum Extraordinaire she had always been until her last breath. She loved family gatherings, socializing with friends, trips to the beach, caring for her furry granddogs, & supporting animal rescue through her efforts for Randolph County SPCA. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Danny Jay Bryant, son, Rodney Jay Bryant, brother, Rodger Currin, sister, Elaine C. Henricks, her father and mother in law, AJ & Pearl Bryant, sister-in-law, Judy Bryant, sister-in-law Linda Bryant, brother-in-law, Larry Bryant, and special nephew Joey Murray.
Funeral service will begin at 11:00am on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Heritage Baptist Church located at 615 Todd Rd. Zebulon, with visitation from 10:00am to 11:00am prior to the service; burial in the Murray-Bryant Family Cemetery, Samaria Community
Patsy is survived by her daughter, Teresa Renee Bryant (Cale); her brother, Johnny O. Currin of Wendell; brothers-in-law, Jim Hendricks of Wendell, Jimmy W. Bryant (Kathy) of Middlesex, Michael R. Bryant (Marie) of Milton, GA; sisters-in-law, Terrie B. Murray (Keith) of Spring Hope, Bonnie Bryant of Middlesex, Emily Currin of Wake Forest; her special companion, Johnny Liggins of Zebulon, special “adopted” daughters, Danella, Jan, and Sheila, whom she loved as her own, and several once-in-a-lifetime friends Linda, Ginny, & June, and many precious nieces and nephews who made her proud and her life whole.
Memorial contributions can be made to Heritage Baptist Church, the animal welfare charity dearest to her heart, Randolph County SPCA at 300 W. Bailey Str. in Asheboro, NC. or donate to a cause close to your heart, as she did often.
Special Note: Renee wishes to thank the exceptional caregivers and staff at Beacon Place AuthoraCare Collective in Greensboro and Clapp’s Convalescent Nursing & Rehabilitation in Asheboro. Mama deserved the best that could be offered and I am grateful that she received it. The many friends and family members who have helped us along this latter part of her journey have been a Godsend. Thank you for your calls, visits, and support, keeping us close at heart and in your prayers
Arrangements are with Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, 211 W. Third St., Wendell. www.stricklandfuneral.com

Even though I never had the opportunity to meet her, I knew her daughter Renee very well. Renee is an outstanding person, and I’m sure her mother left this world knowing she raised an amazing daughter and lived a life she could be proud of.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.
Renee and Family,
We are so very sorry about your mom. Sending you our Love, Prayers, and our Heartfelt Condolences

I am so sorry to hear about Patsy’s passing. I worked with her back in the 80’s at Gill Buick Pontiac GMC. It was my very first real job and she was very helpful in helping me navigate things. I also enjoyed attending some ladies church functions with her. Asking God to bless her family and give them peace and comfort during this difficult time.
Renee, my thoughts and prayers are with you during the home going of your mother. We grew up together as well a attending church together. May you find strength through your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ to sustain you in the days ahead without your mother’s presence. There will be a reunion day where you will not have to say good bye again.
Our thoughts and prayers are to comfort you in the days ahead. We have prayed for your mother’s healing during her years of sickness, but God chose to call her home where she can rest with Him without sickness and pain.May you trust in the lord for strength and peace as you live on without your mother’s earthly presence.
