With deep sorrow and heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved Patsy Holland Pulley, who peacefully left us on June 1, 2026, at the age of 79.
Patsy was a beacon of warmth, kindness, and generosity. She had an incredible gift for making everyone feel welcome and loved—whether through her cooking, her conversations, or simply her presence. She found great joy in catering and bringing people together. Those gatherings were always filled with laughter, comfort, and care. She also loved gardening and spending time with her beloved dog Ellie Mae, finding beauty and happiness in life’s simple moments.
Her life was marked by both deep love and incredible strength. Even after the loss of her husband, Larry, and her sons, Marty Roberson and Jody Roberson, Patsy carried on with grace, resilience, and an open heart that continued to touch everyone around her.
She leaves behind a lasting legacy of love through her daughters-in-law, Linda Roberson and Elizabeth Roberson; step-daughter, Marcelle Pulley and step-son, Nathan Pulley; her grandchildren, Amanda, Kevin, Jason, Lara, and Susan; her cousins Johnny and Janie Watkins as well as many extended family members and dear friends who were fortunate to know her.
We will gather to celebrate Patsy’s remarkable life on Friday, June 5 at Corinth Baptist Church, 13450 NC Highway 96, Zebulon, NC. The family will receive friends from 2:00–3:00 PM, with the service beginning at 3:00 PM.
Patsy will be deeply missed, but her love, kindness, and the countless memories she created will remain in our hearts always.
Flowers are welcome, or memorial contributions may be made in Patsy’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital located in Memphis, TN or The Fetching Post (579 W Barbee St., Zebulon, NC).
Arrangements are with Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, 211 W. Third St., Wendell. www.stricklandfuneral.com

I’m going to miss my friend Pat. We have been next door neighbors for almost 2 years. I enjoyed visiting with her and Ellie Mae. We shared many laughs and sometimes tears. She thoroughly enjoyed my grandkids and always made each of us feel like family. Rest in much deserved peace, my friend, and I’ll see you again one day. Much love.
So sorry to hear of Pat’s passing. Loved working with her at GSK.
Sometimes God puts angels on earth ….. Mrs. Patsy was one of those angles. She will be missed and remembered forever.
So many memories of being loved by her. I’m so thankful for her love and support.
I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Patsy. I wanted to extend my heartfelt condolences to her family. Patsy was the epitome of a southern lady, and I have fond memories of my time with her. May you find strength in cherished memories during this difficult time.
Mrs Pat and Mr. Larry will forever hold a dear place in my heart and my testimony of faith. Even in hardship and loss she carried the joy of the Lord with her everywhere. Her hugs were priceless and her prayers were coveted. She saw people in such a way that was full of grace. Prayers for the family, friends and church family who will remember her.
