ZEBULON – Patsy Hagwood Creech, 79, of 1084 Earpsboro Rd, Zebulon, passed away on Wednesday, August 18th, 2021. Born in Wake County, she was the daughter of the late Albert Reddick Hagwood and Easter Mae Brantley.
Patsy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family with all her heart, especially her grandchildren. She was retired from Micro Measurements Group. She was a long-time member of Union Chapel Baptist Church and attended regularly until her health failed. She loved her church family dearly.
Patsy is survived by her husband of over 54 years, Dewey Wayne Creech, son and daughter-in-law, Michael Wayne Creech and Kimberly Pearce Creech, daughter and son-in-law, Kellie Creech Buchanan and Steven Joel Buchanan, grandson, Travis Wayne Creech, granddaughter, Elisabeth “Gracie” Hodge, sister, Pauline Hagwood Carroll, brother, Thomas Hagwood, and many nephews and nieces.
In addition to her parents, Patsy was predeceased by a son, Gerald Wayne Hagwood, sisters, Geraldine Hagwood Morris, Mildred Hagwood Whitley, Barbara Hagwood Carlyle, brother, Charles Albert Hagwood, and extended family member, Lisa Carroll Aycock.

Services will be at 3 pm, Saturday, August 21st, 2021. Union Chapel Baptist Church, 2437 Zebulon Rd, Zebulon, NC 27597. Visitation will take place at 2 pm, prior to the service. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Michael, Kelly, Dewey Wayne and family so sorry to hear this. Patsy was a loving person. I knew her for a long time and I will miss her too!
Patsy was one of the most remarkable women I have ever met. The time I got with her was nothing but amazing and I will forever cherish those memories. The love between Patsy and Dewy was so admirable and she will be missed dearly. Praying for all family…
I’m so sad to hear of Patsy’s passing. My condolences to all the family. I worked with Patsy at Measurements for many many many years as her supervisor and friend. Patsy was a very tender hearted person.
